Connect Intuit QuickBooks Payments as your payment gateway
Connect Intuit QuickBooks Payments as your payment gateway so your store can accept payment methods your customers expect and trust. You can do this during onboarding or in Bold Account Center.
Prerequisites
To connect your Intuit QuickBooks Payments payment gateway, you need the following:
- Bold Booster installed on your store:
- Admin access to your Intuit QuickBooks Payments account
- Knowledge of which payment method(s) you want to offer in your store.
- Intuit QuickBooks Payments supports credit card or debit card payments and ACH transactions.
- To process payments from digital wallets, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, you'll need to connect another payment gateway that supports these payment methods.
- Admin access to your store

Connect Intuit QuickBooks Payments during onboarding
If you're first setting up Bold Booster, follow these steps to connect Intuit QuickBooks Payments as your payment gateway during onboarding.
Enter your payment gateway information
- In the onboarding modal, under Connect a payment gateway, find Intuit and click Connect.
- Login to your Intuit account.
- In the list of payment gateways, next to Intuit QuickBooks Payments, click the ellipsis (...) and click Edit credentials.
- If you want to include credit and debit card payment fields processed through Intuit QuickBooks Payments, check the Credit Card box.
- If you want to offer direct bank transfers processed through Intuit QuickBooks Payments, check the ACH box.
- Under the Intuit Account Settings section you must link your accounts that will be used for sales and refund receipt creation.
- Click Save.
- Continue the onboarding process for your platform to connect any additional gateways and retrieve your API access token:
Connect Intuit QuickBooks Payments in Bold Account Center
To connect Intuit QuickBooks Payments as a payment gateway after initial onboarding, follow these steps to add or edit a gateway at any time in Bold Account Center.
Enter your payment gateway information
- In Bold Account Center, under Checkout, click Open.
- Click Payment Options > Payment Gateways.
- Under Connect a payment gateway, find Intuit and click Connect.
- Login to your Intuit account. You'll be temporarily redirected to Intuit.
- If you want to include credit and debit card payment fields processed through Intuit QuickBooks Payments, check the Credit Card box.
- If you want to offer direct bank transfers processed through Intuit QuickBooks Payments, check the ACH box.
- Under the Intuit Account Settings section you must link your accounts that will be used for sales and refund receipt creation.
- Click Save.
